Why the DAC modification matters
Jetté and colleagues compared modified human growth hormone-releasing factor constructs in rat pituitary-cell assays and rat experiments. Their CJC-1295 construct included a reactive group attached through an added lysine. Albumin conjugation and resistance to enzymatic breakdown were central to the study.
Those observations concern a defined molecular construct in experimental conditions. They cannot assign the same behavior to NO DAC material or establish the shelf life of a dry vial.
